I got a new book at the library today, called Ask Me Anything. It's awesome. Here are six things that I've already learned:

1. The universe is 13.7 billion years old.
2. 0.14% of the sun is made out of iron.
3. All the heat in the universe when it started was 18 billion trillion trillion.
4. The universe is expanding 45 miles every second.
5. We're made out of the elements in stars.

1st Person Gets the Glory, 2nd One Not So Much

I've been writing comics. They're called 1st Person Gets the Glory, 2nd One Not So Much. There are lots of them. Mom said that even though I'm not really learning anything new, I'm getting lots of practice in writing and creativity and that's kind of like learning. So I thought I would put one of my comics on my blog. I hope you like it!

Mystical Mummies

Egyptians believe that people that die go to the afterlife. The afterlife is also known as the field of rushes. King tut was once a egyptian pharoh. His real name was tutinkamen (tootincomen).
To make a mummy first the eqyptians dehydrate the body. They use natron from wadiel natrun. Then they remove the internal organs. To take out the brain they use a sharp object and slice the head open.

Great Ghosts

Ghosts are a myth that lots of people believe. Another myth is a haunted house. To some people ghosts are scary. To me there not because if there ghosts, when they try to hurt you they'll go right through you.
Ghosts are usually explained as the "undead." That means souls rummaging around terrorizing people. A haunted house is a place where ghosts and other monsters live. People are scared of them because strange things happen.

Marvelous Medieval Days

Knights, kings, queens, princes, and princesses are important people in castles. Around the castle there is usually a moat. A moat is a circle of water. Some people believe there are crockodiles in most moats.
Things that people ate back then included peacock. One legend tells about a kingdom called camelot. That legend is very famous. The king of that kingdom is named arthur.

**Please disregard the silly little note from Conner's mom. This was copied out of his journal, and she write little notes to him in it each night. She couldn't crop it out...

Amazing Amelia Earhart

The first time Amelia Earhart saw a plane she was 10. She was not impressed . On December 28 1920 Frank Hawks gave Amelia a ride. She said "By the time I had gotten 2 or 300 feet off the ground I knew I had to learn to fly."  Amelia was tom boy and had a .22 rifle she used to hunt rats. She graduated in 1915. Her first flying lesson was on January 3 1921. When she had enough money she bought a plane and named it the Canary. She broke the women's record by flying 14,000 feet. She disappeared on May 20 1932 when she tried to be the first woman to fly around the world. And that's the life of Amelia Earhart.

Volcanoes are mountains connected to a underground magma chamber. theres a volcano names mount vesuvius. It blew pompeii off the face of the pant. Most of the bodes were covered in ash and lava then were dried and turned into stone.
Mt. saint helen another volcano. It's in Washinton state. It erupted about 20 years ago. I caused billions of dollars damage.
